Nová Cvernovka joins the Slovenská Tepláreň initiative together with the projects Erik Šulc & Friends, Quatro Emocione and Space Cats, provided by ISBTN.

About the project

Dozens of Slovak artists and bands will come together in clubs all over Slovakia in the middle of November as part of the Slovenská Tepláreň event. The goal of the joint initiative of Festival Pohoda, Roman Samotný from Tepláreň and other partners is to express togetherness with their loved ones and support for LGBTI+ people through concerts for Matúš and Juraj.

We want to express our solidarity with the families and loved ones of Matúš and Juraj, who were murdered out of hatred in the Tepláreň bar in Bratislava. We want to express respect and honor to those who created Tepláreň as a safe place for open-minded people to meet. We want to express our support for LGBTI+ people. We want Slovakia to be a country where everyone can feel safe and where belonging to any minority is accepted with respect as a natural part of society.

Music by Erik Šulc & Friends, Quatro Emocione and Space Cats, ISBTN will take care of the after party.

Tickets and presale: info soon.

ERIK ŠULC & FRIENDS

Erik Šulc, the singer of the well-known Slovak reggae formation Medial Banana, presents his solo project. He sought production help from synthesizer veteran Martin Krajčír, composing under the pseudonym Isobutane, with whom he created the joint single “Mesto” from Iso’s album “Mementos”. The song “Mesto” will definitely be heard in the concert playlist. Their joint set, supplemented by bassist Miloš Bulík, consists of copyrights, while the cover version and musical improvisation takes place directly on stage.

QUATRO EMOCIONE

Original project of bass guitarist Miloš Bulík, known from the formations Space Cats, La3no Cubano, Erik Šulc & Tribal Colors, Isobutane and others. In May 2021, they released their debut EP Cheetahs In Danger, dealing with human relationships, parties and last but not least, cheetahs as an endangered animal species. Save the cheetahs…!

SPACE CATS

The Bratislava trio Space Cats has been active on the scene since 2016. They have played a lot of club and festival performances, they have also collaborated with the Prešov producer Petije. Their music is a cross-section of various electronic genres, which the members of the band like and interpret “live” – the beats of drummer Luboš Ambrozai are complemented by Miloš Bulík on the bass guitar, exaggerated through many effect boxes. The newest addition to the band is the young jazz pianist and synth magician Peter Kunzo. SPACE CATS concerts are known for a high degree of improvisation – most musical ideas are created in real time right on stage. They decided to capture the strongest ones and develop them into full-fledged compositions on their debut, eponymous EP, which was released in the fall of 2020.

Bandcamp

ISBTN

Electronics that go beyond the boundaries of classic dance music or ambient dreaming – that’s how the music covered under the pseudonym Isobutane could be characterized. Behind the project is Martin Krajčír, who in his time built a stable position on the local electronic scene, which he later exchanged for the post of guitarist in the band The Ills and gradually returned to the “machines” again. Iso will take care of an honest techno after this time.
