mimoOs & kol.: TETSU - The Energy That Shapes Us

TETSU is a dance quintet that was created in close connection with musical composition.

TETSU can be seen as a fire around which we sit, dance, live. We perceive it as getting stronger and weaker, sometimes we need to look away from its glow, other times we want to fan it by blowing. We can look into its flickering flames, connect through them with the archetypes of humanity or with personal memories. Maybe after a while we will notice how we gently move in a common rhythm when looking at the fire… In a rhythm resembling the beating of the heart. What might vibrate and pass through the participating bodies through such a group experience? An experience that is conditioned by the energy of the dancers in interplay with the non-stop stream of music and movement?
