Hviezdne noci in cooperation with Nova Cvernovka presents the ambient pop star 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒚, who will present her latest album 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.

CLAIRE ROUSAY (CAN)

Careful listening to her surroundings and reflections of reality in the sound magic of everyday life forms a canvas for Claire Rousay’s work, on which she musically processes feelings of loneliness, alienation, pressure and nostalgia. Affective maps assembled from sound fragments of field recordings Claire complements on the Sentiment album with guitar and modulated vocals. The combination of a collage-like composition and delicate guitar arpeggios creates a vulnerable hybrid of pop and ambient compositions that were created in lonely hotels, bedrooms, and other private places. Pop songwriting is thus combined with an experimental approach on the new album, and carelessly, it creates a carefully composed excursion into intimate moments and moments of estrangement. Claire Rousay takes the intimacy between listener and performer to the next level in her live performances and even takes her bedroom and bulletin board with her!

PLIÉ (LAT)

Noise-rock storm Plié from Lithuania is calling for attention with the new album We Know Exactly What We Are Doing, which takes a mix of sharp guitars and aggressive production one step further. No-wave, industrial, noise. A sound tsunami that engulfs every corner of the room live.

ADAM DONOVAL (SK)

Adam Donoval is behind the label Warm Winters Ltd., where he curates and releases sensitive albums with an experimental approach across Eastern and Western Europe. He is a collector of sounds and a promoter of field recordings not only as a curator, but also as a composer. His album Sometimes Life Is Hard And So We Should Help Each Other is a gentle excursion into the many distorted realities of everyday life, which he brings to light through electroacoustic compositions and collages.
