TETSU is a celebration of movement and life energy. It is the energy that shapes us.
TETSU is the iron that forges the five dancing bodies in an atmosphere of changing dynamic, tonal and rhythmic phases of the music.

Festival: Bratislava in Motion 2022

The 26th edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Dance – Bratislava in Motion offers you eight productions by nine groups and artists in the main programme and six events in the accompanying programme, which will be brought to you from 4 – 22 October 2022.

We hope to delight you with the opening performance of the festival – a dance theatre performance by Diptych group Peeping Tom from Belgium. We first introduced them to Bratislava in Motion in 2008 as very interesting and specific representatives of dance theatre, and their charisma has only grown over the years.

The intention of the dramaturgy of this year’s festival is to present more artists from Israel. Our selection is quite broad, ranging from a production that demonstrates the amazing vitality, quality and impact of dance as an art form performed by the Vertigo company, to a dance performance by Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor that reminds us with light humor of the music and ideas of 20th century figures, to an intimate statement by Nir Vidan, who composes compelling images with precise body movements.

The festival will also offer a very interesting Czech-Slovak evening, featuring two prominent figures from both scenes. Two solo performances by Tereza Ondrová and Martin Kilvády will certainly be a refreshing treat.
