Slovakia is a jungle right now. Sometimes you get lost in wilderness and sometimes you need to fight to survive (as a queer person). Next week, after the ball, we will have elections. Fingers crossed for better future! But today – let’s get wild and celebrate our uniqueness together!

BEST DRESSED OTA – 1 GPDo you know, that the week after the ball, we have elections in Slovakia? At this venue where this ball takes place? How wild is this? For this occasion, show some appreciation and bring it in your elegant outfit in one coloured – monochromatic look. Choose one of the colors you can see at Slovak National Flag: White, Blue or Red. Think monochromatic, think Met Gala, think Oscars. Shoes and accessories counts as well! FFs – purse mandatory.
Behind the story: A lot of queer people are still recounting whether to stay in Slovakia or to leave. Even though we carry the rainbow flag, it doesn’t mean we do not appreciate the national Slovak flag. Slovakia is our home and we want to stay here. But they dare us every time to change our minds. We believe in better future and quality life in here (that’s why we organize also this ball). Take this appreciation to our flag colours as a wish for a safe home. Next week we will need all your prayers.

Be the goldfish and make all your dreams come true with your own wishes and hard work. Show us your winning face!

BIZARRE – 1 GPHuman interference with nature can be measured across the world. No place is untouched on the surface of Earth, not even the Jungles. Here you will find exceptional and wild things that could be defined as bizarre. Very fitting for this night to show us something that can only be found in the deep end of the jungle, showing signs of pollution caused by humans. A botanical plant or living creature, what ever you choose, make sure to make us all Think “wtf”!

REALNESS TRANSMEN REALNESS – 1 GP BQ REALNESS – 1 GPCzech tourist in High Tatras. Confused? Let us explain. Slovaks think Czechs outfit choices for hiking in Slovak mountains are just wild. Not just for a fashion side of them, but they are also not suitable for that kind of a terrain. The stereotypical signature part of this outfit is sandals with socks in them. Tonight we would like to see you blend in as you were a part of Czech expedition in touristic / hiking outfit. We cannot wait to see all the sandal choices!

For the first time in history of Slovakia, we have representative charismatic and elegant woman as a president. She will end her 4 years soon. We want to pay tribute to her style and grace. Bring it as Mrs. President Zuzana Čaputová and bring a picture of her outfit that has inspired you, as a reference.

It is not common in Central European Ballroom scene, and not especially in New way category. This way we would like to support and motivate our small and still growing scene.
OLD WAY – 1 GPOur politics is stuck in old ways but your outfit is not gonna be tonight. Bring it as Queer politician. How would he / she / they/m dress to work, if there were no rules? Make it still formal, but go wild with it.
BQ VOGUE FEMME – 1 GPFQ VOGUE FEMME, DRAG’s PERFORMANCE – 1 GPWOMEN PERFORMANCE – 1 GPWe still fight for equality in Slovakia. We want to be seen, but they want us invisible. It is a wild world out there. Tonight we will fight for the spotlight in our own “Ball of Shame” world in sheer fabrics. Remember: Your outfit is almost invisible, but your performance should not be.
BEGINNER PERFORMANCE – 1 GP
If you are walking Beginners performance, you need to choose 1 category: Old way, New way or Vogue femme. You are not allowed to walk e.g. New way in Beginner category and Vogue femme in regular category. But it is possible to walk Beginners performance and Hands, Arms, Realness, Runway, Fashion and Body & Sex categories.
Choose Outfit (stated above) according to what you choose to walk: Old way (queer politician), New way (black & white) or Vogue femme (sheer fabrics).
