IHOPEIWILL, presented by threeiscompany and Jaro Viňarský, is a physical meditation on migration, loss, and hope. The fusion of contemporary dance and performative art draws you into a personal and collective landscape of movement that we all navigate. Event includes an exhibition that will be accessible to the audience from 6:30 p.m., and the performance will begin directly in the exhibition.
Discussion: When Work Becomes a Target.
After the performance, a discussion will follow on the topic “When Work Becomes a Target.” Two women who have experienced this firsthand have accepted the invitation to join. Soňa Ferienčíková, a renowned dancer and choreographer, became the subject of media and political campaigns due to her partnership with a public figure. Veronika Fishbone Vlčková, Director of the Milan Šimečka Foundation, leads an institution that has recently become the target of public and political attacks because of its “inappropriate” name. The discussion will be moderated by Peter Bárdy.
