Yasen Vasilev works in the field of contemporary dance and performance as a dramaturg, critic and creator.
His works NUTRICULA and IMPOSSIBLE ACTIONS were created in Asia (Shanghai and Taipei) and have been presented internationally. He is a regular contributor to Springback magazine and co-authored “Letter for Transnational Equitable Practice” for Kunstenpunt.

From 2023 to 2024 he held a research position at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and a fellowship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude.
As a dramaturg, he collaborates with Belgian artists Ehsan Hemat, Milo Slayers and Julien Carlier.
